
Seedleaf Agroforestry Program
The Seedleaf Agroforestry Program (SAP) is a monthly program, running January - October. We meet on the second Saturday of each month from 9AM-12PM. With each 3-hour program, we explore a topic, learn new skills and apply agroforestry practices with hands-on learning.
Some of the topics we will cover include:
Kentucky native species
planting food forests
managing forest succession
ethnobotany and cultivation of woody plants
pruning and maintenance of woody plants
planting windbreaks and hedges
biochar production and applications
building bioreactors
