Our Educational Resources

Seedleaf works with Lexington-Fayette public and private schools, after-school programs and daycares to provide meaningful outdoor education activities and support that are garden-centered. These activities run year round. We also have a variety of programming for those learning to grow and share food, those interested in agroforestry, and young gardeners.

Seedleaf provides the materials and know-how to to build school gardens at area schools and care programs. We can build boxes that cater to size of your site and we can help troubleshoot tricky site selection and alternatives.

Garden Tours

We host garden tours at our London Ferrell Community Garden and at our Community Farm space. These are typically 1-2 hours and include lots of eating and light physical activity to help attendees learn by doing.

Garden Clubs

We provide garden club programming to schools, after school programs and daycares. We also work with established school garden clubs to provide support and curriculum.
