Happy November! In this newsletter, we’re excited to highlight Seedleaf’s birthday month, reflect on our successful Pumpkin Sorghum Jam event, and share some exciting updates from our farms and gardens. We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new Market Gardener Program and the planting of new trees in Castlewood Park, made possible by the amazing volunteers from Tree Week. There’s so much to celebrate this month, and we’re grateful for all the support that makes these milestones possible!

On October 26th, we gathered at Headwater Farm for our much-anticipated Pumpkin Sorghum Jam, and what a day it was! From 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., guests enjoyed a beautiful afternoon filled with live music, delicious appetizers, and festive cocktails that perfectly captured the season's flavors.
One of the event's highlights was the Hillview Farm Petting Zoo, where guests of all ages spent time with silky chickens, rabbits, and more—all while enjoying incredible live music from Nat Colton and Jeri Howell.
Guests also participated in Seedleaf Trivia, learning more about our mission to fight food insecurity through urban gardening. It was a fun and engaging way to highlight the important work we do, all while celebrating the season.
This event wouldn’t have been the same without our amazing guests. Your presence and support helped create a day of celebration, connection, and purpose. Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and made the Pumpkin Sorghum Jam such a success! |

As we reflect on the Pumpkin Sorghum Jam, we want to thank everyone who attended for their support and enthusiasm. Your presence made a meaningful impact, and now we kindly ask for one final contribution to help Seedleaf continue its mission. Whether large or small, your donation will directly support our ongoing work in urban gardening and food security. With your help, we can keep growing and serving the community. Please consider making a final donation to sustain the important work we do together.

Packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and a gentle caffeine boost, matcha is a powerful alternative to traditional coffee, offering lasting energy without the jitters. And until November 30th, 10% of the proceeds from every Matcha sold will be donated to Seedleaf, helping us continue our mission to plant urban gardens and combat food insecurity right here in Lexington.
